Production Manager – Hull

Our client, home to some of the country’s largest and respected companies in the construction sector, is currently looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee the operation and production of the group’s timber products.

The Candidate should possess strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with groups at all levels. You must be organised and highly motivated with experience working with product groups such as Timber, Softwood, Hardwood, Panel Products, Joinery or Kitchens and Bathrooms.

Performance Objectives:

• To oversee the production process.
• To ensure that the production is cost effective.
• Estimate costs and set the quality standards.
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes.
• Work with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals.
• Review worker performance and identify training needs of 20 staff.
