Estimator – Bespoke Timber Windows and Doors

We have been exclusively instructed to recruit an Estimator for our client, an established yet growth-oriented privately owned manufacturer of high quality Timber Windows and Doors.

Based in Leicestershire, the company has a strong presence within the UK market and is recognised as one of the leading manufacturers of both standard and bespoke products for the Residential marketplace.

Specific responsibilities:

• Drawing up accurate quotations for customers by studying architectural drawings, schedules and specifications
• Managing own work load to ensure accurate quotes are produced to strict deadlines using in-house computer software
• Liaising directly with customers, architects and internal stakeholders to ascertain project requirements, offer technical guidance and develop strong working relationships.
• Provide professional guidance and support, advising product ranges best suited to specific planning requirements.
• Effectively dealing with issues raised by customers, owning responsibility to completion.
• Maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of current building regulations.
• Strive to reduce the time in returning with the quotation/tender

Previous experience in an Estimating capacity is ESSENTIAL for this role and knowledge of the manufacture of Windows and Doors will be a huge advantage. Applications without such experience will not be considered.

Our client is willing to offer an attractive basic salary commensurate with experience plus pension and opportunities for advancement.
