Woodworking

We are proud to announce our membership of the British Woodworking Federation.

Having experienced significant growth in our specialist area of Timber and Forest Products Recruitment, we recently launched our dedicated Manufactured Joinery division to deal with the increasing demand from this thriving sector.

Now celebrating our 20th year of business, we have ambitious plans for expanding our operations and reach in this competitive market. With the support of the BWF, we are hoping to consolidate our position as the industry’s leading Recruitment Company.

Simon Newman (Managing Director of Miller McKenzie) said “We are delighted to be welcomed as a member of the BWF and look forward to working more closely with the federation and its members as we continue to expand our Manufactured Joinery division. The BWF offers a great deal of value to its members, through advice and resources, and we hope our services and experience will provide an additional benefit.”

“The BWF is a champion of quality and standards in the Manufactured Joinery Industry and we share these values. We are proud to associate with an organisation dedicated to strengthening the industry and look forward to developing our relationship with the BWF for years to come.”

The BWF is the voice of the £3.4 billion woodworking and manufactured joinery industry in the UK, representing its members, promoting growth of the industry and influencing the development of legislation and product standards on a national and international scale.

Michael Lee (BWF Membership Director) said “We are delighted to welcome Miller McKenzie into membership of the BWF. They play an important role in bringing excellent talent into our vibrant and innovative sector and we look forward to working with them to achieve a shared vision of an industry workforce of the highest calibre”

We are looking forward to building relationships with fellow BWF members, starting by presenting a 60 minute workshop entitled ‘Talent Matters: recruitment at the heart of your business plan’ at the upcoming BWF Members Day Conference at Whittlebury Hall, Towcester on Thursday 23 April 2015. We are hoping to share our experiences and advice on how a robust and forward-thinking talent management strategy can give your business a competitive edge.
