We were retained to recruit an exceptional International Sales Manager for our client, a well established yet growth-oriented UK based supplier of high-performance, innovative workplace safety products. This was a new role to play a significant part in the company’s ambitious growth plans by capitalising on current demand and developing channel / partner strategies in the exciting Emerging Markets arena (including Eastern Europe, CIS, Russia and Africa). Having defined the ideal profile during a Project Strategy meeting, we agreed on a search for an experienced international business person to join a close-knit, entrepreneurial team and focus on establishing distribution partners across the globe, with the primary objective of developing and deliveringlong term, sustainable sales growth.
The next phase was to conduct detailed market research and collate a list of target companies and prime individuals at the same time as planning, creating and launching a targeted online campaign to identify talent from outside the industry. Having confidentially approached suitable candidates, interviewing them to ensure that they not only had the right level of commercial experience but more importantly would compliment the client’s culture we submitted a shortlist and managed the entire recruitment process, managing the offer and resignation process.
Our client extended an offer to a clearly outstanding candidate following detailed discussions and have now secured a prominent international business person that can expedite growth plans and offer significant strength to the senior management team. From instruction to completion, this project took 8 weeks.
